Athletic Training

"Athletic Trainers (ATs) are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians. The services provided by ATs comprise prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. ATs work under the direction of physicians, as prescribed by state licensure statutes."

Sports Medicine & Training Center employs a staff of Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainers with years of experience at all levels.

Our Athletic Trainers are able to provide medical coverage for a team or event including:

  • Preventative taping and bracing
  • On-site injury evaluation
  • First-Aid and wound care
  • Coordination of Emergency Medical Services
  • Providing follow-up care as needed
