Barb has been a multisport athlete and interested in human movement throughout her life. After twelve years as a competitive swimmer, she obtained her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the University of Illinois while swimming for the Illini. Barb went on to do postgraduate training in Exercise Science at the University of Delaware, obtaining a Master of Science degree. Barb subsequently chose a career in physical therapy and obtained a MS in PT from Washington University. For 8 years prior to her PT training, Barb worked in the fitness industry, performing fitness tests, writing exercise prescriptions, and providing personal training. As an active Baby Boomer, Barb relates to older adults with musculoskeletal injuries and pain syndromes. Her hope is to transfer her passion for all types of movement to those patients she treats.
