Congratulations to David R. on his 2nd place overall result at the Run for Cookies on November 26!  David cruised a 6:34 min/mi pace for a 20:21 5K, and an overall podium spot! 

Congrats to endurance client Brett W. for his awesome results at the SKIPPO Half Marathon on November 12, his first half ever!  He cruised over a tough course in tough conditions in 1:58:24 for 13th place overall, and 2nd place in his age group.

Congrats to endurance client Kevin L. for his fantastic results at the IRONMAN 70.3 St. George World Championships in October.  He achieved his goal by managing energy, fuel and hydration through the race to be able to finish the race with a negative split on his run!  Congrats on a fantastic training year and an amazing race result Kevin! 
HUGE congrats to SMTC athlete Travis W, for his fantastic finish at the OT 100 trail race in October.  Travis completed the 100 mile course in 31:02.  With the support from his excellent team of pacers (including SMTC’s Heather Rapp), and his family as his crew, Travis powered through using positive mindset and CRUSHED his goal!  Congrats Travis! 
Congrats to Youth Tri Team member Carter, (pictured left) for his 1st place age group finish at the Copper Dock Biathlon in June!
Congrats to SMTC Youth Tri Team members (pictured right with coaches) Madina, Elise and Emilie on their awesome results at the Tour de Kirkwood on July 28.  They raced hard and finished strong after completing a 400m swim, 10 mile ride, and 3 mile run.  1st place in the age group for Madina!

CONGRATS toThe Hub/SMTC clients and athletes for their awesome efforts and results at the Tour of St Louis Bicycling Races in March. Challenging themselves in some of the first bike races in over a year, and navigating new protocols for bike racing due to COVID, this awesome group of racers had some great results at both the Saturday TT in Wildwood, the Saturday criterium at Carondelet Park, and the Sunday criterium at Forest Park!

Some of the highlights include:

-David Rosen placed in the top half of the racers in the Category 4 TT on Saturday morning!

-Atticus Jones placed 22nd in the Category 3 criterium in Carondelet on Saturday afternoon, while still racing with junior gearing (Atticus is only 17!)

– Michael Deal placed 17th in the Category 4/5 criterium on Saturday in Carondelet!

-Jordan Kuiper led the Category 3 criterium in Forest Park on Sunday on a single rider break for multiple laps! (pictured right, photo Bryan Sechrist)

– Jonathan Hanahan placed 18th and 22nd out of very large fields of riders respectively at Carondelet and Forest Park criterium in the Pro/1/2 races!

– Tim Smith placed 2nd in the criterium on Sunday in Forest Park after riding in a 3 man break for multiple laps toward the end of the race!

Congrats to SMTC athlete Jeanne S, for completing the Copper Triangle ride in Vail, Colorado August 1.  Jeanne  completed 78 miles over three very challenging mountain passes and enjoyed great weather and extremely challenging riding along the way!
